Project Description: Single Axis Tracked PV
The Road Runner Solar PV Generating Station was the first and largest solar photovoltaic power plant in New Mexico at the time. The Road Runner Solar Project was developed by eSolar under the leadership of Mr. Asif Ansari and at the time of completion was the largest solar photovoltaic power plant in New Mexico. NRG Energy later acquired the project. eSolar under the leadership of Mr. Asif Ansari, CEO was the original project developer and all land procurement, project development activities, transmission interconnection activities were overseen by Mr. Wayne Stevens. The 20 year PPA was negotiated by Mr. Wayne Stevens team with EL Paso Electric and signed by Mr. Asif Ansari, CEO.
