Project Description: Worlds largest Single Axis Tracked Solar PV Project
The Antelope Valley solar project was initially developed by eSolar and is now the world’s largest tracked solar PV project at 579 MW. Mid-America Holdings owned by Warren Buffet’s of Berkshire Hathaway acquired the project for $2B. This is Mr. Buffet’s first and largest solar investment. eSolar was the original project developer for the primary site including undertaking all land procurement, project development activities, transmission interconnection activities, which were overseen by the basic Sundam Energy team including Mr. Ansari and Mr. Wayne Stevens. The original PPA with Southern California Edison was negotiated and signed by Mr. Asif Ansari, CEO.
